Anna-Maya, IB13 student, has designed and painted the walls in the staircase of the new building as her CAS project. Her sketch found approval by the Principal Dr. Bauer and by the Head of the Art Department Florentine Baumann. It follows the idea of the rainbow flag that decorates the walls in one of the staircases. The colors in the flag are an assembly of the colors of each floor of both buildings at P30. Together they make up the rainbow flag that stands for tolerance, gender equality and the LGBTQIA+ community. Anna-Maya came up with dots of different sizes that are independently arranged on the walls and indicate a color flow from black over brown, red etc. to purple on the top floor. The different sizes of the dots symbolise the different physical appearance of the NMS community. The student had a lot of support from fellow classmates to help her paint. They all dedicated six hours on a Sunday to carry out the project. The final touch will be applied next weekend! Thank you, Anna-Maya & friends!

IB13-Studentin bei der Realisierung ihres CAS-Projekts im Treppenhaus des Neubaus
Anna-Maya, IB13-Studentin, hat als ihr CAS-Projekt die Wände im Treppenhaus des Neubaus entworfen und bemalt. Ihre Skizze fand Zustimmung beim Schulleiter Dr. Bauer und beim Leiter der Kunstabteilung Florentine Baumann. Es folgt der Idee der Regenbogenfahne, die die Wände in einem der Treppenhäuser schmückt. Die Farben in der Flagge sind eine Zusammenstellung der Farben jeder Etage beider Gebäude auf P30. Zusammen bilden sie die Regenbogenfahne, die für Toleranz, Geschlechtergerechtigkeit und die LGBTQIA+ Community steht. Anna-Maya hat sich verschieden große Punkte ausgedacht, die unabhängig voneinander an den Wänden angeordnet sind und im Obergeschoss einen Farbfluss von Schwarz über Braun, Rot etc. bis hin zu Violett anzeigen. Die unterschiedlichen Größen der Punkte symbolisieren das unterschiedliche Erscheinungsbild der NMS-Community. Die Schülerin hatte viel Unterstützung von Kommilitonen, die ihr beim Malen halfen. Sie alle widmeten an einem Sonntag sechs Stunden der Durchführung des Projekts. Der letzte Schliff wird am kommenden Wochenende aufgetragen! Danke, Anna-Maya & Freunde!
