NMS Student representing Germany at International Art Contest in Tokyo, Japan
For the third time, an NMS upper secondary student won the first place in the international art contest IFAC in Tokyo, Japan. This year’s winner and representative of Germany is Mina Wang, now in Q1 Abitur. Her artwork was selected in the Ministry of Education and sent to Japan where it became part of an international exhibition of high school students from 17 countries. Mina would have been invited to fly to Tokyo for the awarding ceremony and the grand opening of the exhibition if the pandemic had not prevented her travel. We congratulate Mina and are proud to have artistic talents at NMS like her!
Previously, our students Hella Bill (2016) and Mia-René Butter (20018) had been winning the first place and trip to Japan. They actually went and enjoyed an incredibly well-organised encounter with the culturally rich country, an award that they will never forget in their lives. Here are the award-winning pieces by Hella and Mia-René.
