To mark Fashion Revolution Week , the non-profit organization Future Fashion Forward (FFF) presented their workshop ‘Do clothes grow on trees?’ on Wednesday, 26 April 2017, to young textile explorers in Flex A. During the interactive workshop the kids showed great interest in examining different fibers and their characteristics with different experiments such as a water absorbency, flame and a crease recovery test. They explored the benefits and drawbacks of the fibers and their resources in regards to sustainability and learned about the stories of the people who help making our clothes.
Future Fashion Forward e.V. is a group of fashion designers, educators and graphic designers who are committed to a fairer, safer and cleaner fashion industry. This FFF workshop was sponsored and funded by ENGAGEMENT GLOBAL on behalf of the BMZ.
