Nelson Mandela School’s first ever student led career day took place on Saturday the 3rd of March 2018. The few students that did attend were treated to a variety of career presentations and talks by parents and friends. Students got to hear about life at Coca Cola, computer programming, a dual studium at Mercedes, Politics, Law, working internationally (diplomatically/development organisations) and much more!
Students even took away with them free promotional materials and great brownies from the China AG’s bake sale. Feedback from parents and students said this was a great initiative, a well-organised event and something that should ought to be repeated in the future. A big Nelson Mandela thank you to all speakers who gave up their time, Mrs Akkermans, Mrs Donald and Rudi for their help on the day and all our close friends who helped make the day a success.
