As we listed the above items, it's worth remembering the following:
- There is an updates section of the website for school notifications
- Make sure you have signed up for new class email lists to get important notifications from the school and GEV. Sign up here. If your child is in a new class, then the email from last year won't work.
- Keep an eye on the newspapers due to recent BVG strikes.
- The Senatverwaltung für Bildung (Department of Education) has a press releases section. This will give you additional information and sometimes advance warning of changes.
- Make sure you have registered your child for online learning with the school. Every child should have consented to G Suite online learning months ago. To see further details look here.
